Its almost Jan 9th - the big release date for Raghu Dixit CD - the man has gone quiet on his website and I also dont see any activity on the Orkut / MySpace communities. Perhaps he's busy with the last minute release prep - this is what Raghu wrote back to me about a month back

Information: The CD is NOT yet out.
Best PART: It WILL DEFINITELY be out on January 9th, 2008.
Reason for Delay: What was to be a simple nation wide release is now got magnanimous and now the album will be launched world wide simultaneously! Its a first in the country for a non-film artist. Because of this new development, the delays have become necessary and unavoidable. The CDs are ready and waiting to be parcelled to the stores, just that we have to wait for legal clearences from various countries which should be wrapped up before the end of the month.

I havent seen any video buzz, but will dutifully trek to my local Planet M location to find the CD, if at all - big hopes for the CD and hopefully they will be sated!
BTW props to the man for his experience on the Jodhpur Music Festival - check out the blog here - we missed this event by one day during our Rajasthan trip and are definitely heading back next year.
